It’s all about the table (or so our guests say). This house was built for large gatherings, and our guests absolutely love that the dining room table comfortably seats 12 people. This is great for large family dinners, eating crabs, or just sharing morning gossip. The house was built with tongue-in-groove pine, and has the character of an old beach house. This is one of a kind rustic house for large gatherings - 6 bedroom, 3 bathrooms, and off street parking accommodates 5-6 cars. Two bedrooms are in a separate cottage which offers additional privacy.
Sweet Caroline is located in Rehoboth-By-the-Sea, which is located in the quiet end of north Dewey, and is a short 1 ½ block walk to the beach. Rehoboth-By-the-Sea has the charm of single family homes and is nestled in among the pine trees. It’s a close walk to the nightlife of Dewey, and a close enough to walk to all the shops and restaurants of Rehoboth. The Jolly Trolley is also a convenient way to get to the Rehoboth boardwalk. There is a stop on Chesapeake St. (one block North).
Sweet Caroline comfortably sleeps 15. All guests will have a room, and the six bedrooms offer plenty of options for all your guests (1 queen, 1 queen, 3 singles, 4 singles, 1 double, and 1 double sofa bed). Each bathroom (3) has a shower, and the enclosed outside shower adds a forth shower offering plenty of options for when everyone gets back from the beach. The view of the pine trees in the outside shower is mesmerizing when taking a hot shower in the outdoors, so you may need to put a time limit on that one.
The front fenced-in courtyard is great for corn hole or other yard games, and includes plenty of seating and a picnic table. The backyard deck is great for grilling and also includes plenty of seating and a patio table. Includes WIFI, Comcast Cable, AC, Full size Washer & Dryer, Dishwasher, Grill, and outdoor dining.
This is a two story single family home with 6 bedrooms. The home includes two bedrooms and a bath on the first floor. Two bedrooms and one bath are located upstairs. To get upstairs you do have to walk up a spiral stair case. Two bedrooms and one bath are separate from the main house. There is a spacious living and dining room on the first floor.
First floor (2 rooms) - 1 Queen, 1 Queen
Second floor (2 rooms) - 3 Singles, 4 Singles
Separate Cottage (2 rooms) - 1 Double, 1 sofa bed. The room with the sofa bed has a separate entrance and can be used as a small living room. It has has a flat screen tv.
New for 2019 season: cottage was completely renovated, and window air conditioners in main house were replaced with mini-splits.
